Fundraising Header


Join us for a fundraising masterclass at the Perkins!

Whether you're looking to kick start your fundraising or smash your $2500 goal, we’re hosting a round table discussion to give you the best tips and tools for success.

This facilitated discussion will be guided by the MACA Cancer 200 fundraising team, but is also a chance to meet and learn from your fellow riders.

Light refreshments will be provided and there is the opportunity to tour the Perkins and see where your funds are being put to work.

Training Info Sessions


Join us for a training informtaion session at the Perkins with Accredited Sports Scientist Dr. Sacha Fulton.

We will cover how to best prepare yourself for the 2019 MACA Cancer 200. Topics include preparation, training principles and definitions, cycling training programs, a strength training program and flexibility training program. Dr. Sacha Fulton will also cover bike handling, bike maintenance and tips for riding in a group. 

There will be the opportunity for questions at the end, to answer any concerns you may have regarding physically preparing yourself for the big weekend!

For more information about Dr. Sacha Fulton, please see below: 

Dr. Sacha Fulton is an Accredited Sports Scientist. She completed her PhD with the Australian Institute of Sport following her tertiary studies in NSW. Her PhD titled 'Performance Characteristics of Paralympic Swimmers' was completed in conjunction with Swimming Australia and the Sunshine Coast University. Concurrently, Sacha was appointed as Physiologist for the Australian Paralympic Swimming team. Sacha worked with the team until 2013 and accompanied them to the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games and the 2012 London Paralympic Games. In 2009 Sacha gained employment at the WA Institute of Sport. She worked with the Institute for over nine years assisting in the athletic improvement of Olympic and aspiring Olympic athletes

In 2018 Sacha established her own Sports Science consulting business, Peak Preparation, for athletes in Perth. We are very excited to have Peak Preparation as the official training partner for the 2019 MACA Cancer 200.
