I’m on a mission to defeat cancer.

I'm riding 200kms to raise vital funds for cancer research right here in W.A.

This ride is to honour all families who have been affected by cancer, including my own.

For my Poppy, whom we lost to lung cancer in 2003 and Nanna Riiel, whom we lost to bowel cancer in 2017.

For Nanna Caddy, whom we lost to bowel cancer in 2022.

And for my cousin Angela, who at just 3 years of age was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma and after undergoing 18 months treatment she went into remission. This was unfortunately short lived and before the age of 5 we received the heartwrenching news that Angela had been diagnosed with Leukemia.

This year, however, Angela will be celebrating her 20th birthday.
