Two Passions Meld - Hiking and Cycling

2022 is a special year to bring these two Passions together.

May/June will see me challenge myself to complete the Bibbulmun Track E2E not only to raise funds for the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research but for my 70th Birthday in June taking in the nature and tranquility of our Western Australian Bush.

Being a Volunteer for the BTF in the Office has given me a spring in my step by being surrounded with like-minded very knowledgeable people. Listening to all the wonderful track stories and passion for the track I hatched this plan when trying to fit in my E2E, Raise Funds for the Perkins and Celebrate my 70th in June all before the 200km Ride weekend Sat 15th and Sunday 16th October 2022. 5% of money raised will be donated to the BTF.

For 10 years I’ve ridden in the MACACancer 200 Ride for Research with 100% of all money raised going directly to the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. I ride with my Women Waging War On Cancer Team who are extremely passionate about this cause. We ride as we are Cancer Survivors, lost a family member or like most of us know someone going through Cancer Treatment. My Breast Cancer outcome was only possible due to dedicated RESEARCHERS; from there my journey began pledging to pay it forward by raising funds to support their work in finding better outcomes for us all.

My goal this year is to raise $20,000 so PLEASE donate to my page and help me help the researchers in their amazing research. I look forward to you following my track adventure in May/June 2022 and helping me raise the much needed funds for research.
