Team Bellevue Gold Riding for a Cure

The countdown is on to the Maca Cancer 200, and our Bellevue Gold team of eight riders is gearing up for the challenge of riding 200 km across two days.

Together, we’ve set ourselves a group fundraising target of $20,000 — and we are only $400 short of reaching this target, reaching this milestone means every rider will qualify and, more importantly, more funds will flow directly into life-saving cancer research here in WA.

Our team has been training hard, and with only weeks left until the ride, we’re focused on both fitness and fundraising.

Some of our riders have already exceeded their targets, while others are working hard to get there. The great news is that we only need a final push to reach our collective goal — and that’s where your support can make all the difference.

By donating, you’re not just backing our team, you’re contributing to better treatments, better outcomes, and better futures for people facing cancer.

👉 Help us get there: every dollar counts, every donation matters, and together we can ride towards a cure.

I’m on a mission to defeat cancer.

Cancer has taken so much from us. Whether it is a loved one, family member, friend or closer to home, cancer is relentless.

I want to put a stop to cancer by riding 200kms to raise vital funds for cancer research right here in WA.

The funds I raise will go to the brilliant minds at the Perkins who are committed to finding breakthroughs that will lead to improved health outcomes for those affected by the hardest-to-treat diseases.

Hearing the words “it’s cancer” is heart-wrenching. But with Perkins researchers, I am determined to eliminate the fear and uncertainty that cancer brings.

On Saturday 4 October and Sunday 5 October 2025, I will pedal alongside my fellow riders who share the dream of making cancer non-lethal. Your support can turn this dream into reality.

Many riders return every year because they know that the funds we raise go back to the Perkins. It is also a worst kept secret that the Ride is the friendliest cycling charity event in Australia. Why not join me in making a difference?

Whether you join me on the Ride or contribute to my fundraising page, your generous support matters.

Together, we can conquer cancer.
