    TEAM Matt and Mat: Riding with Purpose in the MACA Cancer 200

    This October, we are proud to return to the MACA Cancer 200 Ride for Research, a two-day, 200km cycling journey from Perth to Mandurah. We’re riding to support the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, a world-class centre dedicated to tackling some of the most challenging diseases of our time—including cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and rare genetic conditions.

    Last year, our team of 15 passionate riders raised nearly $100,000—a testament to the power of teamwork, commitment, and community. This year, it is personal and my friend Mat and I take on the ride and the challenge to raise funds for cancer research.

    The MACA Cancer 200 is more than a ride—it’s a movement. It’s a chance to experience breathtaking WA scenery, connect with like-minded individuals, and be part of one of Australia’s most welcoming charity events.

    Your support—whether through sponsorship, donation, or joining the team—helps fund the brilliant minds at the Perkins. With over 250 researchers working to extend and improve lives, every dollar raised brings us closer to a future free from the fear of cancer.
