Almost a year ago since I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a little known cancer of the bone marrow. It accounts 15% of blood cancers and only 1-2% of cancer cases generally.  Since then I have undergone five rounds of treatment and a bone marrow transplant and my disease is currently stable.  I am riding to raise funds for cancer research and, of course for my own fitness.
