My journey: Riding the Macca Cancer 200

This year, I’ve taken on a challenge that means a lot to me — the Macca Cancer 200 Ride. Over two days, I’ll be riding 200 kilometres to raise awareness and much-needed funds in the fight against cancer.

For me, this isn’t just about cycling. It’s about the people in my life — family, friends, colleagues — who have been affected by cancer in one way or another. Each kilometre I ride is dedicated to them, and to the countless others who are still fighting.

The Challenge Ahead

Two hundred kilometres is no small feat. It will test my endurance, my legs, and probably my patience at times! But compared to the battle faced by those living with cancer, the discomfort of a long ride feels small. That thought is what will keep me going when the road gets tough.

Why It Matters

The money raised through this ride goes directly to support Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. Every donation, no matter the size, helps fund critical research and care programs that bring hope to families affected by cancer.

My Goal
