Back for my TENTH year in 2024, myself and my fellow Breakaways are riding and fundraising for this wonderful cause in 2024!

I have decided to ride again for all my family and friends which have unfortunately been touched by cancer in some form. The number of people diagnosed every year is increasing (stats) and while prevention is much better than it used to be, a cure is certainly obtainable. These WA researchers are committed to finding answers faster and developing ground-breaking treatments for the hardest to treat cancers. Because no one should have to hear those two life-altering words, “It’s cancer.”

Funds raised in Cancer200 ride will support ground-breaking, critical cancer research being undertaken at the Harry Perkins Institute for Medical Research (formerly WAIMR). It is Western Australia’s premier adult medical research institute. They investigate the genetic and environmental causes of a range of diseases, including breast and prostate cancer.

Your donation will be sent to the Harry Perkins Institute for Medical Research bank for immediate use. The Institute is registered with the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient, so everyone who donates $2 or more will receive a Tax Receipt.
