I’M RIDING IN CELEBRATION OF My Friend, Ryan Glossop
For the past seven years, my great mate Ryan Glossop has ridden in the MACA Cancer 200 to raise money for cancer research. Every year Ryan has pedalled hundreds of kilometres, battled sore legs, early mornings and tough conditions, all to help people facing a cancer diagnosis. This year, cancer has become personal. Ryan has recently been diagnosed with an incurable cancer. While none of us can change that diagnosis, we can stand beside him. We can ride with him. We can support the research that gives hope to families facing this devastating disease. And we can show Ryan just how much he means to all of us. This year I'm riding the MACA Cancer 200 for Ryan. I'm riding to honour his courage, his generosity, and the incredible example he has set for so many years. Every kilometre will be a reminder that cancer doesn't just affect individuals – it affects families, friends and entire communities. If Ryan could spend seven years riding for strangers, surely we can all come together and ride for him. Please consider making a donation, no matter how big or small. Every dollar helps fund vital cancer research, treatment and support services, and every donation sends a message to Ryan that he's not facing this fight alone. Let's ride for Ryan. Let's raise as much as we can. Let's make a difference. #RideForRyan #MACACancer200 #CancerResearch #RideForACure #TeamRyan
I’m on a mission to defeat cancer.
Cancer doesn’t just affect one person, it shakes up families, friends and communities. This year, I will be taking a stand against it.Â
In October 2026, I’m joining a community of passionate riders to cycle 200km to raise vital funds for cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
Every dollar pushes us closer to breakthroughs at the Perkins where brilliant researchers work tirelessly to find life-saving answers for some of the toughest cancers. But they also need our help to ensure their vital progress continues– no matter what.
100% of the funds we raise will go back to the Perkins giving cancer researchers the support to continue their life-saving work so that our loved ones can live longer, healthier lives.
The Ride is more than just a test of endurance—it’s about unity. I'll ride alongside an incredible group of people who believe, as I do, that cancer can be conquered. Your support can turn this belief into reality.
I can’t do this alone. Will you help me to reach this goal?
Whether you join me on the Ride or support my fundraising, your generosity could be the key to saving our loved ones from this disease.
Together, we can beat cancer!
