Why I’m Riding
This year I’m back on the bike for the MACA 200. A 200km ride over two days to raise funds for cancer research here in WA.
Cancer has hit close to home for me, more than I ever thought it would.
I’ve lost a close mate to it, I’ve seen family members and my mates’ parents taken by it, whilst my uncles and aunts, and mates parents, are currently battling through it. More recently, my brother has been diagnosed and is currently in the thick of his fight.
So Cancer SUCKS! Plain and simple. It’s why I’m doing this ride, to help fund the research that gives people more time, better treatment, and hopefully one day, a cure.
Last year, with the support of so many generous people, we raised $4,000. This year, I’d love to go even bigger. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference.
If you’re able to support me, please donate. It means more than you know.
