I’m on a mission to defeat cancer.

On Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October 2025, I’ll be joining a passionate community of riders to cycle 200km in support of cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. This ride is especially meaningful to me—as I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in November last year and completed my final round of chemotherapy in April. Throughout this journey, it’s been the strength of a positive mindset, along with the unwavering support of family and friends, that has helped me face this challenge head-on. Taking on this ride is my way of giving back and helping others on their own cancer journeys. Every donation supports vital research and brings hope for a future without cancer. Cancer doesn’t just affect one person, it shakes up families, friends and communities. This year, I will be taking a stand against it. 

Every dollar pushes us closer to breakthroughs at the Perkins where brilliant researchers work tirelessly to find life-saving answers for some of the toughest cancers. But they also need our help to ensure their vital progress continues– no matter what.

 100% of the funds we raise will go back to the Perkins giving cancer researchers the support to continue their life-saving work so that our loved ones can live longer, healthier lives.
