Riding for a Cure – Supporting My Brother-in-Law
This year, I am taking on the challenge of the Conquer Cancer Ride again. Over 200km in 2 days, not just for the physical achievement, but for something much bigger and deeply personal. I am riding in support of my brother-in-law, who is currently in the toughest fight of his life – battling an aggressive form of rare brain cancer. His strength, courage and determination in the face of this devastating illness are inspiring. I want to do something meaningful to show my support and again help make a difference in the lives of others facing similar battles. Cancer affects us all – whether directly or through someone we love.Â
On Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 October 2025, I am joining a community of riders to cycle 200km to raise vital funds for cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. 100% of the funds we raise will go back to the Perkins giving cancer researchers the support to continue their life-saving work so that our loved ones can live longer, healthier lives.
If you’re able, I would be grateful for your support – whether it’s a donation, a share or words of encouragement. Together we can push for progress and a future where cancer no longer has the final say.Â
Thank you for being part of my journey.
