Riding for a Cure – Supporting my Family Members
This year, I am taking on the challenge again of the Conquer Cancer Ride. Over 200km in 2 days, not just for the physical achievement, but for something much bigger and deeply personal.
Cancer has impacted my mother, and in recent months deeply impacted two people who are very close to me. Watching them face this disease with strength and courage has been both heartbreaking and inspiring. I’m riding to honour their fight, to show my support, and to help make a meaningful difference in the lives of others who are on similar journeys.
On Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 October 2025, I am joining a community of riders to cycle 200km to raise vital funds for cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. 100% of the funds we raise will go back to the Perkins giving cancer researchers the support to continue their life-saving work so that our loved ones can live longer, healthier lives.
If you’re able, I would be grateful for your support – whether it’s a donation, a share or words of encouragement. Together we can push for progress and a future where cancer no longer has the final say.
Thank you for being part of my journey.
