I’m riding to beat cancer
According to cancer statistics in Australia, 1 in 3 men and 1 in 4 women will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 75. Some Australians may even face cancer more than once.
Cancer is a reality you will meet directly or through someone you know and love.
Medical research finds new ways to deal with cancer, like determining who in your community or family is more likely to develop cancer, how to detect cancer cells early and finding new types of treatment for you or your loved ones.
Both my grandparents died of cancer and a friend recently passed away from cancer. The current treatment options were not able to help my loved ones, but with ongoing research, more effective treatment regimens will aim to help you and I in the days and years to come, when we face cancer.
My career in the medical field meant that I was able to be part of the research efforts and saw first-hand the breakthroughs that medical research achieves.
With your financial help, research can continue at the Harry Perkins institute in WA. Please donate today to ensure a better tomorrow for you and for those in your life.
Please help me, help the Perkins.
