As Ride weekend approaches, the excitement is building!
Here is the ultimate quick reference for all the details you'll want to know before the big weekend. From the itiniery, route, essential tips and must-know info, we've got your covered.
Whether you're a veteran rider or a first-timer you will be supported over Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October so you can have an unforgettable experience.

before the event

online check-in
Online check-in opens in September. Completing the check-in is compulsory for all riders. Head to your dashboard to complete your checkin-in.

pack pick-up
Your rider pack will be available for pick up at the Perkins a week before the event. Log into your dashboard to book a tim to collect.

bike & bag drop off
Drop off your bike and luggage at McCallum Park on Friday, 3 October between 7am-7pm.

the route
The MACA Cancer 200 route is a two day, 200km round trip.
Starting at McCallum Park, on Day One riders will cycle all the way to Mandurah. Then, bright and early on Day Two you'll set off back to Perth along the picturesque coastline.
On both days, the route will have pit stops stationed every 20km to help you complete your trip with ease.

weekend timeline
day 1: Saturday 4 October
5 to 6am: Late luggage drop off.
5.30 to 6am: Riders arrive at McCallum Park.
6.25am: All riders should be ready in their wave position.
6.30am: Opening Ceremony begins.
7.00am: Ride out for Mandurah.
5 to 7pm: Dinner.
6 to 7.30pm: Saturday Night Celebration.
10.00pm: Lights out, happy campers!

day 2: Sunday 5 October
5 to 6.30am: Breakfast.
6.45am: Weather and safety briefing.
7am: Ride out from Mandurah to return to Optus Stadium.
11am: WesTrac Welcome Back commences at The Camfield at Optus Stadium.
5pm: WesTrac Welcome Back and Ride celebrations ends.

what else?
Luggage drop-off and bike securityÂ
Your bike and luggage can be dropped off at McCallum Park, Victoria Park any time from 7am – 7pm on Friday 3 October.
Bikes will be kept safe in a secure lock up that is patrolled 24/7 and luggage will be secured at McCallum Park before being trucked down to Mandurah prior to your arrival on Saturday.
Late luggage will also be accepted on Saturday 4 October from 5am – 6am.
More information will be shared with you about this via email closer to the Ride weekend.

Getting to McCallum park
The Ride begins at McCallum Park. While parking won’t be available on-site a dedicated pick-up and drop-off zone will operate on Friday 3 October for luggage and bike drop-off. It will also be available on the morning of Saturday 4 October to make your arrival and departure easier.

The entry to McCallum Park on Saturday morning is likely to very busy. Please consider getting dropped off, carpool with another rider or walk to the park to avoid any delays on Saturday morning.

health & safety
Should you need them, St John officers will be on standby. The number to call is 0488 773 822 should you need assistance along the route.
Safety vehicles and signage will also be visible along the route to help with road safety.
Once you've conquered 200km we’ll have something cold for you once you cross the finish line and massage therapists to help ease those aches!

pit stops
The Northern Star pit stops are located roughly every 20km along the route. These pit stops are places where you can regroup, recharge and replenish. Toilets, water and electrolytes and sustenance will be available at each stop.
Hearty and nutritious food awaits you at the finish line on both days. Riders will also enjoy a delicious dinner on Saturday night and a hot nutritious breakfast on Sunday morning.

Saturday night celebration and camping
The official Saturday Night Celebration is a BIG celebration of you! Enjoy an early evening of dinner, speeches from other riders, acknowledgements and a couple of surprises.
Camping facilities are also available to those who book a camping space. Please note - bookings are essential and you are required to provide your own bedding.

Finishing at Optus stadium
You will finish Ride Weekend in victorious style at Optus Stadium Sunday 5 October.
Family, friends and supporters are welcome to cheer you in and celebrate your achievement at the WesTrac Welcome Back Celebration at The Camfield from 11am.
