I’M RIDING IN MEMORY OF My Mum, Sue
It is that that biennial time again where I take on the streets of both Perth and Mandurah (and the 200kms in-between) in an attempt to raise much needed funds for cancer research through this annual bike ride and with this comes my not so veiled request for donations. You may recall the former successes and glory of 2024 that came with your donations, these include (but are not exclusive to) me managing to not only complete the ride but also not dying in the process. This year will be bigger than ever and with last year’s event raising over $8 million dollars it is now your chance to be a part of this year’s feel-good bonanza! But, I hear you say, how can I possibly get involved in this worthwhile cause? That’s ok you can ride the coat tails of my success's and follow along vicariously by donating through the attached link, not only will you be doing something good for humanity but all donations over $2 are tax deductible meaning you will be able to laud it over the ATO for the next 12 months. So, whether your dislike cancer, hate the ATO or just have too much money this is your chance to help me help you feel good again by donating!

In October 2026, I’m joining a community of passionate riders to cycle 200km to raise vital funds for cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
Every dollar pushes us closer to breakthroughs at the Perkins where brilliant researchers work tirelessly to find life-saving answers for some of the toughest cancers. But they also need our help to ensure their vital progress continues– no matter what.
100% of the funds we raise will go back to the Perkins giving cancer researchers the support to continue their life-saving work so that our loved ones can live longer, healthier lives.
The Ride is more than just a test of endurance—it’s about unity. I'll ride alongside an incredible group of people who believe, as I do, that cancer can be conquered. Your support can turn this belief into reality.
