We've reached our goal!

Hi friends. I’m pleased to share I’ve just reached $4k for cancer research right here in WA. To my friends, family and work colleagues who have donated, thank you so much for your generous donations. I’ve now joined the Honour Roll, an exclusive club for those who have gone further for cancer research.

With your continued support, I know I can smash my original goal. Every donation and pedal stroke fuels cancer research at the Perkins, and there’s no greater honour than that! If you’ve been meaning to donate, please support my 200km Ride this October with a quick donation today!

We're back to beat cancer...

For the team taking part in a 200 km bike ride for a cancer charity is more than just a physical challenge, it’s a personal mission we all have as well as a great way for a bunch of mates to achieve all the great things that comes with team exercise.

Every kilometer pedaled represents strength, endurance, and hope for those who have faced the fight against cancer. The ride for me is not only about raising funds for critical research and support programs but also about honoring the journeys of loved ones whose lives have been deeply affected by this disease.

For me, this ride carries special meaning because of the battles my stepfather and brother-in-law have faced in the past years. Watching them endure the challenges of treatment, the uncertainty, and the toll it took on their daily lives and body was both heartbreaking and inspiring. Their courage and perseverance in the face of something so overwhelming have left a lasting mark on me, and it's why we need to kick this terrible disease.

By taking part, I aim to contribute to the cause so fewer families have to witness their loved ones struggle in the same way. The ride is always a challenge with the little riding I do nowadays but every push of the pedal is dedicated to those who continue to fight and those we’ve lost. This is not just a cycling event it’s a time to raise awareness and the ability to provide funding to assist on-going research, better treatments and here's hoping one day a cure.
