This one is for DAD

Hello :)

As many of you know, I’ve been living in Australia since 2019. This beautiful country has become my second home, offering countless opportunities and experiences. However, being far from my family back in Mauritius has been one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced. This challenge became even more difficult recently when I received some heartbreaking news: my dad has been diagnosed with cancer for the second time.

Hearing about his diagnosis from thousands of kms away felt like a punch to the gut. My dad is my hero, my rock, and knowing he has to fight this battle again while I am so far away is incredibly hard. Despite the distance and the time difference, I do my best to show him how much I love him and how much he means to me.

This year is my 3rd MACA Ride, a charity event to channel my love and support into something impactful. This ride is not just about raising funds for cancer research; it’s about standing in solidarity with my dad and all those affected by this devastating disease. It’s my way of fighting alongside him, even from afar.
