Doing this for the ones that matter most!

In October 2026, I'll be taking on the challenge of riding 200km for MACA Cancer 200 Ride for the Perkins — not just as a cycling event, but as an opportunity to support a cause that has become personal to me.
One of the main reasons I've chosen to participate is because of a family friend, Chris, who is currently battling cancer. Hearing about someone you know face such a difficult journey is heartbreaking. It highlights the strength, resilience, and determination required every single day when living with this disease.
Chris is currently participating in a trial through the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. Seeing the role that research plays in providing hope, treatment options, and potentially life-changing outcomes has reinforced just how important organisations like Harry Perkins are.
That is why this ride means so much to me. Every contribution makes a difference ❤️🚴♀️

Great work Holly, wishing you and your friend Chris the very best! My father had been battling multiple cancers over the past couple of years and is currently in remission. Good luck in the ride!! Andrew MacPherson
