We're back, after a year off. 5th year milestone doing this amazing ride with over 32k raised personally. 

This year I'll be making a challenge for myself and for my donors, if I manage to raise $15,000 and hit the diamond club I'll do the challenger route which includes a very shitty and hilly ride up to serpentine dam from mundijong and adds 40kms to day 1. 

This might be the year I actually train before the ride

MY JOURNEY

Unfortunately just after I turned 18 I was knocked back after hearing the words "you're diagnosed with stage 3 hodgkins lymphoma" luckily I was a young, semi fit, positive bloke so the next 6-9 months of challenges were bumpy but could easily get through it with the support of friends, family, the nurses and doctors at Charlies and the youth cancer center.

As another year rolls around, you'll be hearing a lot from me about raising money for harry Perkins foundation through the ride MACA Cancer 200. For all those who know my story from last year or know me personally, I warmly welcome you to donate again.

Raising over 32k since 2019, hopefully smashing that total that out of the park this year, Would be good to get the word spread about the benefit of cancer research and the help it causes.

I don't wish getting cancer upon anyone in the world, and I'm sure anyone whos had it or had someone close to them diagnosed will agree with me.

Last year as a total we achieved new heights which is amazing for the research and awareness this needs, with all this covid stuff happening in the world, we don't want to push the awareness and research out of the way.

So this goes out to all friends, family, friends of friends, stranger, small companies, large companies, get on board, donate small or large, donate on a weekly or fortnightly basis its all tax deductible.

In 2025, we're all taking a stand against cancer and backing the brilliant brains at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
These WA researchers are committed to finding answers faster and developing ground-breaking treatments for the hardest to treat cancers.

Because no one should have to hear those two life-altering words, “It’s cancer.”
But I’m not doing it alone, there’s a growing group of riders who return year after year to this ride. They do so not only because it’s lifechanging but because the event feels like a big reunion - where all the guests are the family you love!

I’m on a mission to defeat cancer.

Cancer doesn’t just affect one person, it shakes up families, friends and communities. This year, I will be taking a stand against it. 

In October 2026, I’m joining a community of passionate riders to cycle 200km to raise vital funds for cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

Every dollar pushes us closer to breakthroughs at the Perkins where brilliant researchers work tirelessly to find life-saving answers for some of the toughest cancers. But they also need our help to ensure their vital progress continues– no matter what.

 100% of the funds we raise will go back to the Perkins giving cancer researchers the support to continue their life-saving work so that our loved ones can live longer, healthier lives.

The Ride is more than just a test of endurance—it’s about unity. I'll ride alongside an incredible group of people who believe, as I do, that cancer can be conquered. Your support can turn this belief into reality.
