Cancer doesn’t just affect one person — For me, it’s personal.
This October, I’ll be riding 200km for the first time in memory of my dad, Sandoval, who passed away 11 years ago from Glioblastoma — a rare and aggressive brain cancer with very low survival rates. We’ve seen promising research into immunotherapy in recent years, but there’s still a long way to go.
On Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 October 2025, I’ll join a passionate community of riders to raise vital funds for the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, where brilliant scientists are working tirelessly to find life-saving breakthroughs for some of the toughest cancers.
100% of the funds raised go directly to the Perkins, giving researchers the support they need to keep moving forward — for families like mine, and for everyone touched by cancer.
The Ride is more than just a test of endurance — it’s about hope, strength, and unity. I’m also riding for my health, to challenge myself, and to do something meaningful.
I can’t do this alone.
If you can support my fundraising, or simply share this message, it means the world to me.
Together, we can help create a future where cancer is no longer a life sentence.
