Mark Ham takes on a 5,471 km challenge for the Perkins

Mark Ham is doing something outside of his comfort zone. Something that will challenge him. He is going to attempt to ride from Fremantle to Sydney over a distance of 5,471km in an UNSUPPORTED event called the Indian Pacific Wheel Ride, or Indipac for short. He has taken six weeks of long service leave and hopes that this will be enough time.

Follow his progress once the ride starts at:
    Indipac - https://ipwr24.maprogress.com/#
    Rider Name - Froog

Mark is not happy taking on just one challenge though.  He has also set a goal to raise at least $10,000 for the 2024 MACA Cancer200.  Please show your support for Mark as he takes on this massive challenge by making a donation.  1 cent per km equates to a donation or $54.71.  Better still, 10 cents per km would be a donation of $547.10.

Their goal today is the same as it’s always been, to lead the industry in quality – whatever they produce.

Boree Park was registered in 2017, when the need arose for Rhodes Pastoral’s farming operation to expand its commercial operation.

Their requirement of 40 or more replacement White Suffolk rams per year, meant breeding their own a was a natural step. Allowing our team to continue with the goal of breeding rams specifically for commercial needs. Each year, Boree Park mates around 9,000 merinos which are selected for wool quality and frame size, to our White Suffolk’s. The ram breeding program focuses on ewe survival, with low birth weights, rapid growth and fertility, being other key attributes.

Boree Park's generosity has supported the fundraising efforts of 12-year rider and Harry's Hero member, Martin Baraiolo.  Thank you.

Their combined experience results in events that appeal to a broader audience. Their aim is to introduce rodeo to the wider WA community.

    About Crack Cycling

Crack Cycling is a community team that has participated in the MACA Cancer200 Ride for the Perkins (formerly known as the Perth Ride to Conquer Cancer) since the inaugural event in 2012.

We are a very diverse team made up of people with different ages, backgrounds, experiences, and cycling abilities.  The one thing that we have in common is that we have all been touched by cancer, either directly or indirectly, in some way.

We all want to see end to cancer, or at the very least for cancer to become a non-lethal disease.  We recognise that this outcome will only be achieved through medical research, and since none of us are researchers ourselves, we are committed to doing our part to raise money to support the work of those that are.

Crack Cycling is only a small community team.  However, we are a team that consistently punches above our weight in terms of fundraising.  Since the inaugural ride in 2012 we have raised over $740,000 to support the Perkins Institute of Medical Research in Perth.  That's an average of little over $60,000 for the team and $4,000 per team member each year.

Many thanks to all our donors, sponsors and supporters who have helped and encouraged us since 2012.

It's Cancer's turn to be afraid!

Together we can do great things

There is nothing as powerful as a group of people mobilised behind a deeply personal cause that drives them to achieve things they thought impossible.

Our cause is cancer and we are committed to supporting the world-class cancer researchers at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research to drive discoveries to help our friends and family battling this terrible disease now and in the future.

Please help us, help the Perkins by donating to our team.
