I’M RIDING IN CELEBRATION OF My Wife, Nicole

Why I Ride — Year Six Six years in, and the answer to "why do you keep coming back?" has never been clearer. I ride because cancer hit close to home. My wife faced it head-on — surgery, recovery, and everything in between. Today, she is cancer-free, and I genuinely believe that the research funded by events like this one played a part in that. That's not something I take lightly. That's something I ride for. But if I'm honest? This event gives me so much more than just a reason to pedal. The Cancer 200 community is something special. The team atmosphere, the camaraderie, the riders who show up year after year — some carrying their own stories, some riding for someone else's — it pushes you when your legs don't want to. There's nothing quite like it. And then there's the course itself. Challenging, stunning, and every kilometer worth it. It reminds you that the hard things in life are always more rewarding when you push through them. So here I am. Year six. Still riding, still raising, still believing that we are getting closer to a world without cancer — one kilometer at a time. If you'd like to support my ride, every donation makes a real difference. I’m on a mission to defeat cancer.

Cancer doesn’t just affect one person, it shakes up families, friends and communities. This year, I will be taking a stand against it.

In October 2026, I’m joining a community of passionate riders to cycle 200km to raise vital funds for cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

Every dollar pushes us closer to breakthroughs at the Perkins where brilliant researchers work tirelessly to find life-saving answers for some of the toughest cancers. But they also need our help to ensure their vital progress continues– no matter what.

100% of the funds we raise will go back to the Perkins giving cancer researchers the support to continue their life-saving work so that our loved ones can live longer, healthier lives.

The Ride is more than just a test of endurance—it’s about unity. I'll ride alongside an incredible group of people who believe, as I do, that cancer can be conquered. Your support can turn this belief into reality.

I can’t do this alone. Will you help me to reach this goal?

Whether you join me on the Ride or support my fundraising, your generosity could be the key to saving our loved ones from this disease.

Together, we can beat cancer!
