Riding for Impact: Team ACCIONA’s Third Year in the MACA Cancer 200

For Team ACCIONA, the MACA Cancer 200 has become more than a two‑day, 200‑kilometre challenge. It’s a tradition built on purpose, community, and the shared belief that every kilometre can help change a life.
As we enter our third year, the team is stronger, more determined, and more united than ever. What began as a passionate group of riders has grown into a powerful movement — one that continues to push boundaries in support of world‑class cancer research at the Perkins.
A team growing in strength and spirit
In 2025, 22 riders proudly wore the ACCIONA jersey. This year, the team is expanding to 30 riders, each bringing their own story, motivation, and commitment to the cause.
Every new rider represents more awareness, more conversations, and more momentum behind the mission to defeat cancer. Together, they form a community that lifts each other up and rides with purpose.
A bold goal for 2026: $150,000
Team ACCIONA has already made a remarkable impact in just two years, contributing significantly to the research efforts that give hope to families across Australia.
In 2026, the team is setting its most ambitious target yet: $150,000 to support lifesaving cancer research.
It’s a big goal — but this is a team that doesn’t shy away from big challenges. With every donation, every training ride, and every show of support, they move closer to making it a reality.
Why this ride matters
Every rider has a reason for being part of this journey. Some ride in honour of loved ones. Some ride for those still fighting. Some ride because they believe in a future where cancer research is fully supported and lives are transformed.
Together, they ride for the thousands of Australians affected by cancer every year — and for the breakthroughs that will shape tomorrow’s treatments.
How supporters make the difference
Behind every rider is a community of people who believe in the cause. Every contribution, no matter the size, fuels the research that leads to real progress. It helps ensure that the Perkins can continue its vital work — work that saves lives and gives families hope.
Supporting Team ACCIONA means supporting a mission far bigger than the ride itself.
Looking ahead to our biggest year yet
With more riders, more energy, and more determination, 2026 is shaping up to be Team ACCIONA’s most impactful year so far.
The team is ready to push harder, ride further, and raise more than ever before — all in the name of a cause that touches so many lives.
Thank you to everyone who stands behind this team. Together, we’re riding toward a future where cancer has fewer victories and more people get the chance they deserve.
