I'm riding in memory of my mum.

A few years ago, she came to Australia from Poland and convinced me to walk the Cape to Cape Track with her while raising money for cancer research. We shared incredible scenery, even better conversations, and were already planning our next adventure when she flew home.

Shortly after returning to Poland, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and passed away only a few months later.

My mum was an absolute fire — fierce enough to scare off trouble, but warm enough to hold a family together.

I'm riding for her, but also because events like this bring people together around something bigger than themselves. The human connection created through a shared cause is incredibly powerful, both in life and in business.
