Give cancer the death of a thousand cuts
Almost everyone has been affected by cancer. This year, I'm riding 200km to play my part in that.
When we talk about “a cure for cancer”, it sounds like a single breakthrough. But in reality, cancer is already being worn down — piece by piece.
Diagnoses that used to be death sentences now come with far more hope. That’s because of the steady, incremental discoveries made by researchers at places like the Harry Perkins Institute every year.
So while a silver bullet may still be a long way off, every dollar you donate contributes to those small advances — the ones that slowly push cancer to the margins.
In October, I’ll join a community of riders taking on 200km to raise critical funds for cancer research.
100% of the funds raised go directly to the Perkins, supporting the researchers doing this life-saving work so our loved ones can live longer, healthier lives.
The ride is more than just a test of endurance. It’s about backing something that works.
I can’t do this alone. Will you help me reach my goal?
Your donation could be the one that unlocks the next discovery — another step in pushing cancer further to the margins.
Let’s keep the pressure on.
