I’m on a mission to defeat cancer.
I'm challenging myself again for cancer research
Last year’s ride was a great experience (despite the wet and windy Saturday) with the support and friendship shown along the way so much more than I ever expected.
Everyone has been touched by cancer sometime in their lives and as most of you will know I had treatment in 2024 for prostate cancer and our daughter Kylie fought of bowel cancer in 2020, benefiting from research into that cancer in the years that led up to her diagnosis.
Whether the diagnosis is a loved one, family member or if it’s much more personal, cancer is a terrible burden.
This year, I am again joining over 1800 riders for the 15th Harry Perkins 2-day, 200km bike ride to raise funds for cancer research, right here in WA at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.Â
The plan is to ride over the weekend of Saturday 17 October and Sunday 18 October 2026 in the MACA Cancer 200 - Ride for The Perkins. On my road bike again, not the e-bike!
I am training and fundraising in the lead up to the event. I'd love your support. If you can't join me (I'd love the company), then please give generously to my donation page. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and a tax receipt will be sent to you

Please help me, help the Perkins.
