I’m on a mission to defeat cancer.
So I'm challenging myself for cancer research
Everyone has been touched by cancer sometime in their lives and as most of you will know I had treatment last year for prostate cancer and our daughter Kylie fought off bowel cancer in 2020. Kylie benefited from the research into that cancer in the years that led up to her diagnosis.
Whether the diagnosis involves a loved one, family member or if it’s much more personal, cancer is a terrible burden.
This year, I am joining over 1000 riders around Australia as we take on a 2-day, 200km bike ride to raise funds for cancer research right here in WA. The Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research will receive all funds raised.Â
The plan is to ride over the weekend of Saturday 4 October and Sunday 5 October 2025 in the MACA Cancer 200 Ride.
