I’M RIDING IN CELEBRATION OF My Friend, Ryan Glossop
I'm riding this year alongside my mate, Gloss, one of the most genuine and positive guys I know. I am also riding for all the members of my family who have been affected by cancer, including my Pop and Uncle Dave.
Thank you
Great news today, folks. The MACA Cancer 200 Ride has raised more than $2,370,270 for cancer research at the Perkins. It’s a huge milestone, and if we keep it up, it could be one for the history books. A fantastic result for our loved ones with cancer and the West Australian community!
I want to take a moment to thank my supporters. Your support ensures I’m able to Ride 200km for the Perkins and allows cancer researchers to continue their life-saving work.
I’m riding for someone I love, and I’m incredibly grateful for your help. Thank you for your generosity.
If you haven’t donated yet (or you’re feeling especially generous!) please make a donation via my fundraising page below. 100% of your donation goes to cancer research at the Perkins right here in WA.
I look forward to sharing the end result in a few months. Watch this space!
I’m on a mission to defeat cancer.
Cancer doesn’t just affect one person, it shakes up families, friends and communities. This year, I will be taking a stand against it.
I’m proud to be riding alongside my mate, Ryan “Gloss” Glossip — the founder and captain of Lycra What You See (LWYS) crew.
Recently, Gloss was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, an incurable asbestos‑related cancer. However, he continues to fight on with an amazing positive attitude. He is an inspiration to everyone, including our beloved PRC Cycling community.
Cancer has also been an ongoing presence in the lives of many of my extended family, losing my beloved Pop and Uncle Dave.
In October 2026, I’m joining a community of passionate riders to cycle 200km to raise vital funds for cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
Every dollar pushes us closer to breakthroughs at the Perkins where brilliant researchers work tirelessly to find life-saving answers for some of the toughest cancers. But they also need our help to ensure their vital progress continues– no matter what.
100% of the funds we raise will go back to the Perkins giving cancer researchers the support to continue their life-saving work so that our loved ones can live longer, healthier lives.
The Ride is more than just a test of endurance—it’s about unity. I'll ride alongside an incredible group of people who believe, as I do, that cancer can be conquered. Your support can turn this belief into reality.
I can’t do this alone. Will you help me to reach this goal?
Whether you join me on the Ride or support my fundraising, your generosity could be the key to saving our loved ones from this disease.
Together, we can beat cancer!
