First ride on the new bike
Training has started in earnest
This weekend marked the start of the training journey leading up to the event in October!Although I had to wait until the Monday to dodge the worst of the wind that came through, I managed to send off the weekend right by getting out to Herdsman.
The next objective is to purchase the bike I'll use for the race, and get stuck in to training on the new machine :)

I’m joining the fight against cancer.
This October, I’m joining the AMC team to cycle 200km to raise vital funds for cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
I am riding in honour of the friends and family that have fought against cancer, and for those who have faced the challenge of supporting a loved one through their fight.
I have committed to raising $2,500 this year, your support of my fundraising target is truly appreciated, and goes towards a goal I believe we can all get behind. 100% of the funds we raise will go back to the Perkins giving cancer researchers the support to continue their life-saving work so that our loved ones can live longer, healthier lives.
